I'm a writer, reporter and researcher from Minneapolis living in San Francisco.

From 2021-2023 I worked for Mother Jones as a Ben Bagdikian Editorial Fellow, Senior Editorial Fellow, and Senior Writing Fellow where I wrote extensively and fact-checked features in the bi-monthly print magazine.

I've written for places like The Nation, Bolts Magazine, The FADER, The Outline and Belt Magazine. In 2019 I was a 11th Hour Food and Farming Fellow at the University of California-Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.

Before that I helped start a music and culture print magazine in Minneapolis called Greenroom. You can read that archived work here.

You can hire me write and report for your publication, to research and fact-check, or to help write your legal brief, speech or press kit.
